When the loved ones are sent far
With a million prayers
To embrace without knowledge
That does not tell apart,
The answers
From the questions
And the truth is lost
To the force of imagination.

The silent mountains

The fierce Beas in its deceptive speed,

Life is wonderful, with nothing

Nothing at all at its feet;

At the top alone

I inhale the world and let it pass,

I stand still to hold

What must become, be it child’s God.

In a continuum of love

The sister kissed

The young

Seated behind her on a motorbike

It was

Like a flower bloom

Spread its fragrance

In a continuum of love

The moment, turn immortal;

A woman sat at

The foot of the mountains

Hammering into stones

Scarf tied to her head

Unmindful of all

The roars and the imaginary quiets

As the Beas flowed

Through bends and unknowns;

I stood atop

Hills of ‘Anjaneya Mahadev’

Breathing in the world

Eyes closed

Under the water and the cold

Wishes about to fulfil, still

Wanting to turn

Obscure.
