As a child I would kill
Anyone who did oppose
I could stay, adamant
As long as I wished
Win all my battles
Because I believed I did,
But to grow up, to learn
To know, this is the world
My world, your world and everyone’s
This is the world
Waiting to be searched, with
Famous, more famous and the very best,
To find that one day
Of happiness, that moment
Of belief, in you and me
In celebration, in family
In company, in solitary
That would go, beyond the ordinary.
