At my office balcony, July 2015.
A crow sat on the wall
Hopping from a point to the other
Calling so loud all would hear
As I spread the clothes on the roof
It wouldn't go when I got near;
Late afternoon I strolled on a road
Not far It repeated and called
Followed in desperation as much it could
Until I was gone nonetheless;
Attacked and bitten by little insects
In defence only to run and return
All I heard was a distant crow
Though, father or the mother
I wouldn't know;
I walk still and am sure
To find him there once more
Have seen and heard many a since
None like the one I would think;
It begins to rain as home I run
Back there I find a pair
Perched high turned towards the other
Happy, I continue to run
And I think it called the next hour.
