The Shadows

The wheels must turn,
The buildings rise,
The cities must build,
And the cultures survive.

I must travel,
To the farther land,
In hope of an answer;

Will I return,
Until then,
Do I hope,
Until when?

Until when,
The Sun must set,
And the shadows die.
